Raksha Bandhan with the Indian Army
“No festival should remain incomplete in the service of the nation.”
Every Raksha Bandhan since 2024, our students have carried handmade rakhis to the Central Command Headquarters in Lucknow — around 1,500 in 2025, and 1,600 in 2026 for soldiers posted on the borders. In 2025 they tied them on the wrists of Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C Central Command, and Lieutenant General Naveen Sachdeva, Chief of Staff.
Led by our Director, Mrs. Sarita Jaiswal, and Principal, Mrs. Anupam Singh, the girls offered a generation’s respect and gratitude to the Indian Army. The officers blessed them to carry patriotism, discipline and a dedication to excellence into all they do.
