Where it began
Before the rankings and the Robotics Lab, there was a building site in Vipul Khand, a first batch of ninety-six children, and a belief that success — even in small things — is how children learn to believe in themselves.
1999
The first bell
In April 1999 an educational society of professionals and educationists opened Scholars' Home in Vipul Khand, Gomti Nagar, with ninety-six children. The building was still rising around them; the conviction was already complete — every child is blessed with a unique set of talents, waiting to be nurtured.

Opening
Ribbons, a plaque and an inaugural function
The school was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of its plaque. Then came the ICSE–ISC inaugural function, bringing guests, teachers and the first students together on one stage.

Early years
Every talent, given a stage
Karate demonstrations from the very start. Sports days in formation on the green. A choir, a stage and science laboratories. The early years set the pattern that still defines the school: academics taken seriously — and everything else taken seriously too.

Traditions
Houses, assemblies and a voice for good causes
The house system took root, with flags carried proudly at every march past. Morning assemblies, community rallies — ‘Discard polythene, save the world’ — and a habit of honouring achievement became traditions.

2024
Twenty-five years — the Silver Jubilee
In 2024 Scholars' Home celebrated its Silver Jubilee — twenty-five years of academic excellence — with an annual function that filled the stage with music, dance and gratitude.

2026
The complete school
Today: 960 students from Playgroup to Class XII, 51 teachers — 46 of them postgraduates — on a 2-acre campus with a Robotics & AI Lab, five science labs and a 500-seat auditorium. Ranked the No. 1 ICSE school in Lucknow seven years running, and still: sections capped at 35.
